Taylor Signature
Gold Label 510e
This is the first artist model Taylor has built in the Gold Label line: a deep-body, square-shoulder dreadnought with a torrefied Sitka spruce top over mahogany back and sides. Mahogany trades rosewood's low-end bloom for a cleaner midrange, and that is what keeps fast crosspicking from turning to mud. The torrefied top holds its headroom when he digs in.
Taylor installs an L.R. Baggs Anthem SL at the factory, so it plugs into a Loudbox the night you get it home. We're an Authorized Taylor Premier Dealer and a Gold Label Advantage Dealer, and the button below shows every 510e we have in stock today.
Every 510e ships after our 23-Point Professional Inspection and carries the Dread-Not Guarantee.

This is Trey's list and we stock it. Each one links to the live listing, so if it's here, we have it.

D'Addario XS Medium Phosphor Bronze 13-56, 3-pack
He runs coated 13s on the 510e, and the coating buys a few more shows before the top string goes dull.

02
D'Addario Nickel Bronze Medium 13-56
The same 13-56 set without the coating wears faster and gives you the raw string sound.

Token A3-55 Green Flatpick, Large Triangle 1.40mm
A large triangle at 1.40mm rounds off the note and doesn't flex at speed. We also stock the 1.52mm.

Shubb F1g FineTune Royale Capo
You set the pressure once with the screw and it stays set, so the capo stops pulling the guitar sharp every time it goes on.

05
Shubb C1k Capo Noir
Keep this one in the case pocket. The lever puts it on and off in a second between songs.

L.R. Baggs Anthem SL
This is the pickup in his 510e, sold on its own. If you want another guitar to sit in the same mix, match it here.

Fishman Loudbox Artist
Two channels and 120 watts give a dreadnought enough headroom that it doesn't fold up when the banjo comes in.

D'Addario Screeching Halt Soundhole Cover
This rubber disc plugs the soundhole and stops the feedback howl. It's one of the cheapest things on the list.

The full list also has his soundhole tuner, Hercules triple stand, Gator flight case, brass fingerpicks and a peg winder.

Why buy it from us
We're an 11-time NAMM Top 100 Dealer in Springfield, Missouri, and our staff works on and gigs with the same instruments we sell. Every instrument on Trey's list goes through our 23-Point Professional Inspection before it goes in a box.
Instruments $1,000 and up carry the Dread-Not Guarantee: a full year of 90% trade-in credit and a 30-day in-home trial. Take the 510e to a jam before you decide. If it isn't the one, send it back.
Call the shop with a question and a player will pick up.

Does Trey earn anything when I buy from this page?
Yes. Every link on this page carries his Community Pro referral tag, so he earns a commission and you pay the same price as anywhere on our site. It's his list.
Why does the 510e button go to a collection instead of one guitar?
A link to one serial number goes dead the day that guitar sells. The model page always shows the 510es we have in stock right now.
Who packs and ships this gear?
We do, from our shop in Springfield, Missouri. We don't drop-ship or use a third-party warehouse, and we inspect every instrument here before we box it.
